Is it normal for a bass that is off the chains of the neck a lot?
My friend has a low and the strings are a little high and it is difficult (in form) to play at the 12th fret and such. Is this normal for a low? under the brand Cort
The low should have an action which is slightly higher than a normal guitar, but not extremely. Cort is a fairly cheap brand of instruments are known for having some bad action. It is possible to get fit to play much better. Take your local music store and let them adjust the bridge and possibly the neck. This should cost less than $ 20 and could even be free if you buy a new set strings and let the exchange store for you. Be sure to ask the repair person to check the action and less if possible.
