Can I connect a guitar amp for the subwoofers low?
I am thinking of buying a 5 string and a decent amplifier for him. I wondered if there was any way to connect the amplifier to the 12 "kickers I currently have in my car, and play effectively with a lot more volume.
Yes you can. I've done it myself befor. I was bored one day so I messed around and connected to about 10, I had my bass guitar amplifier. It sounded impressive also, he did rattle the walls! Another guy downstairs is fine though. Make sure that the resistance is the same in the bass amp, and speakers. If the amplifier Low has a speaker output, but has 2 subwoofers in the sub 4 ohm by then will have to wire the subs together in a series. This will make the read amplifier 8 ohms, assumeing the output of the amplifier is a single speaker that has a range of 4-8 ohms OHM. Wireing in parallel may damage the amplifier. If the amplifier has a dual speaker output (left channel, right channel), then all must be the wall. While the range of OHM is 4-8 ohms per channel and subtitles are the same exact range.
