Where do I put my fingers on the neck of the guitar?
Hi guys! Well, I'm trying to learn to play guitar, because I have a lot I like songs I'd like to play. But I realized it's not as easy as it sounds. I'm in a place where I had understood everything very easily, until he reached the point where you had to put your fingers on the frets ...? I know what are the dishes .... at least I think so. They are the spaces between the peices of the metal things right? It may sound like an idiot, but I am only 12 please, in front of me:) Anyway I do not know if I put my finger in and pull the string itself down or in the spaces between the chains I'm confused. Could someone please help me? I really want to learn, but I'm very confused. The main issue is whether I put my fingers right into the chain, or directly on the piece of metal, or where I push down so the note is played. Please help! Thank you soo much:)
Your fingers go in the top of the chain and directly behind the frets.
